I know I'm way late in blogging this but I still wanted to :). On May 29th, 2010 Sigel chose to be baptized as a public declaration of his faith in Jesus. He was very excited to do this. He was baptized with a 3 others from our youth group that have also recently made a commitment to follow Jesus - one of them was Alex - our neighbor who started attending the Seeds of Change Youth group and met Jesus.
This was Madelyn and my first outing and it went well - she slept the whole time :). I bit painful for me but it was way worth going! People were so surprised that we took Mady out at 4 days old - the culture here says that babies and mom's don't leave the house before 1 1/2 months.
Below is Skarleth - one of our transitioning youth, and Alex - our neighbor who is a very frequent part of our life. :)
