Tristan, Tami, and I stood in line to be able to give say hi to Mickey :)

Despite the stress of getting to Florida (see previous post) we had such a good week! It was really fun to be with family and to catch up with them. We stayed at a beautiful time share, went to Disney World, Epcot, and ate altogether way too much good food! On Monday we drove out to the coast and watched the space shuttle Atlantis take off - that was way awesome! We found a nice little beachy (although it was only 4 feet wide) spot, took out our chairs that we borrowed from the porch of our hotel, brought out our picnic lunch and watched the show. It was so neat to see in person! We watched it go off and through the clouds and then by the time it was out of site, the sound came and wow was that amazing to hear the rumble! Throughout the whole week we had record hot weather except for the one afternoon we reserved for the pool it rained cats and dogs and hail! :). so much for my tan...
On Wednesday the family left and Tristan and I were left for two more days of vacation and errands. We got Tristan measured for a tux for a wedding in September, spent a few hours in Wal-Mart stocking up on things you can't buy in Honduras. (And we also realized how much more expensive food is in Honduras compared to the U.S.!!! Even Rice is cheaper in Florida than Honduras!), and we picked up some packages we had shipped to Florida to meet us. Then I got a call from a best friend from high school who I haven't seen in 4 years and found out that she had the next day off and was only 4 hours away! So she drove down Wednesday night and spent the rest of our vacation with us. It was so good to see her and catch up in person rather than on the plane. We spent Thursday in Disney World with her in the pouring rain - but we had fun anyways.
Our flight Friday wasn't nearly as exciting as our trip out there :) Praise God! We got home around 9:30pm. Although we had a really good week vacation, I was really excited to come back home and get back into life.
Today (Saturday) we went to a wedding of two friends of ours that we were involved in the match-making last year :). So that was really fun. The whole wedding was in English & Spanish as one is Honduran and one is North American. Then tonight we picked up our new puppy..more on her to come.... :) with pictures...
Love you guys! God Bless!
