Hi everyone this is Tristan's latest post!!!!
Today, May 1st we went to the El Ayudante project to continue finishing up the team house. On the agenda was taking tile off of the bathroom walls, and break up concrete to access the shower drains that needed to be repaired. We brought along with us Santos, a kid that we have been spending lots of time with. He is the foster son of one of the ladies working with Semillas de Cambio, and lives in a house full of women. He is from an orphanage and is a really good guy, but lacks male attention and role modeling. I really like Santos and he has a lot of potential but he also has a lot of issues. We have fun and he is learning how to be a "abanil" which means construction worker. As we get to know each other better i hope to really be able to mentor and disciple him. The day went great, lots of sweat and hard work, he is a really good worker. we traveled home and when we dropped him off, Joshua the son of Leonie (president of Semillas de Cambio) ran up to give me a hug, then another hug, and then he fell asleep in my arms. Being a Good man here is a lot of work because it seems as though we are rare and there is LOTS of need for good men. Today i felt that i was a good man and was glad to give the needed MAN HUGS.
Love you all!!

Tristan, I cried like a baby when I read this. I mean a BABY! LOL...to know that we have the Father's love frees us to pour it out on the father-less. Love is the great healer and this post really touched me. When all our labors are yay and amen, this is the kind of thing that makes our heavenly Father smile! Keep up the good work and stay encouraged in Him.
