Are you interested in adopting? If you are interested in International Adoption, that is part of the Seeds of Change ministry and we currently have some adoptions in various stages of the process. Honduran adoption used to be impossible but slowly the doors have been reopened and it's possible to adopt! We work with a fantastic Lawyer who specializes in adoption.
This week I received an email with information about a 2 1/2 year old boy that we are looking for a home for. He is legally free so the adoption would be relatively easy and uncomplicated. He has a club foot, some problems with his left arm and leg and is a bit behind with his speech. He has been receiving occupational and physical therapy. Really he needs surgery for his foot. He is living in a government orphanage. He is adorable! If you are interested, email me and I can send you more specifics about Jose. eamohagen@yahoo.com
**For those who have been asking about Swine flu in Honduras: Swine flu is so far not a big deal here yet. There have been a few cases reported. Our friend who works at the U.S. Embassy said that there is nothing to worry about yet and he will let us know if something changes. ***
