Saturday we moved into our house. The moving day went well - we had lots of great helpers and the traier was unloaded within about 4 hours. Our friends were great - we have lots of stairs going from the gate to the house and they carried all our stuff. I got a few head shakes a few times when they were carrying my heavy hope chest. By the end of the day, we had our bedroom, the living room, bathroom, and kitchen all cleaned. We also had my kitchen put together and our bed made and ready to sleep in. I woke up that morning feeling sick - conjested and a head cold. Thanks to my friends Adrianna and Maria - they kept me going and we got lots done. Adrianna also brought soup for us to eat that night so we didn't have to think about that. We have such great friends!
We have spent the last two days putting stuff away, organizing and cleaning. I have had to fight the mold in the house...but I"m going to win! :) We still don't have internet, a stove, or a washer or dryer hooked up, but I"m thinking positively that by the end of the week it'll all be done!
We have had repair guys at the house fixing little things that were broken. They replaced all the broken screens on the windows so hopefully the mosquito's will stop biting us during the night. oh -and last night while I was sitting at the dining room table, a cockroach flew and landed on me! it was so grossssssssssss! (this is not to deter you from coming to visit - this is not a normal occurance!)
All in all, we're really happy with our house. Max is settled in and happy too.

I'm glad you guys found a place! I enjoyed the slideshow, it looks great! And the cockroaches don't turn me away from coming to visit :) I wish I could, maybe someday, it would be awesome! After all, that guest bedroom looks pretty cozy ;) Love ya!
