Sigel's first trip Stateside! AKA All adoption papers complete!

At the beginning of April we received Sigel's green card which granted him permission to travel to the States for the first time! We quickly booked tickets for Tristan and Sigel to head to Washington DC with the hope of completing his US passport and all his U.S. citizenship paperwork. Thankfully that all happened without a glitch and he now has all his paperwork complete.

This month (May), we celebrate Sigel being a part of our family for 6 years now - and we are now 100% done with all the paperwork! He now has all his rights as our son. In addition to the paperwork, they had a great time visiting the Air & Space Museum and other sights! Tristan's parents were also there for the week for a conference so they got to be a part of this great week.

Tristan and Sigel spent a few days with some great Chesapeake Church friends as well which was very fun and refreshing for them.

So glad it is all done at last! It felt like it would never all happen. God teaches us patience. I am so grateful to God. It was a very fun time in Washington DC and Maryland. I have never seen Sigel smile that much. I felt he was really happy to have it completed. You worked so hard to get this to happen for your family! Love you all so much. Nana
