Email update sent out :)

We have had a very exciting and advancing month and we're excited to share with you the great things have been happening.

God has been opening up so many doors for El Ayudante that we're just trying to keep up with walking through them! Here are some of the highlights:

* WATER FILTERS: We have begun to install the water filters to the families in our areas and that has been really fun to have over an hour in a families house to get to know them, work alongside of them, and have some really great conversations.  we have SO MANY more filters to go, we've only installed 12 filters - each one takes 1 1/2 hours plus our prep time and driving time. We are so thankful to have this chance to not only give 100's of people purified water and thus a healthier life, but also to have this connection and relationship building opportunity!

* CLINIC: The church that has adopted the clinic as their project has made a lot happen in the last couple months! The clinic is now 90% stucco'd  - both inside and outside! The tile floor will be be installed starting next week as well as doors and windows very soon! We have a container of dental equipment on the way as we begin to now start looking for medical equipment and medical teams to start serving in the clinic!

* FAMILY: In our last update we told you about Lily coming to live with us - well unfortunately that didn't last as long as we were expecting. Due to some security reasons, it was decided that Lily (and us) would be safer if Lily lived outside of Comayagua. I know, sounds curious but we can't explain more. I (Beth) am now in my 3rd Trimester - yippee! We're all a little overwhelmed by how soon this little princess will be joining us! Maddy's talking up a storm - even if we can't understand it all, and she's the best little helper for installing water filters :). Sigel is doing very well in school and has been selected to be participate in Math Olympics and he's also translating for medical teams through his school - between school, Taekwondo, and everything else, he is a very busy boy! Tristan's parents came for a visit this month - and his mom - Shanon - stayed for a few weeks which we all loved.

* OTHER:
- LaFarge cement company has donated another 300 bags of cement!
- We met with the mayor of this area asking for support and he is loaning us a grater to fix the road and entrance to the project
- We are preparing for a team that is coming next month to do all the finish work on the staff house!
- I volunteered with Operation Smile for a day - doing the evaluations for the cleft lip surgeries they did the following days.
- After 14 months of attempting to get the electrical company to hook up a new transformer, God put us in touch with the boss of the electrical company who has helped us promptly and for a fraction of the price that they would normally charge! So Monday the power will finally be hooked up for the clinic, guest house, and staff house of EA! Tristan has spent a lot of time with wires lately!
- Jose - a man we've been helping get medical attention (surgery) had his second surgery this month and it was a success!!! Praise God! It's been such a blessing for us to witness his miracle. We are also so happy to share that this summer we have a youth team building him and his family a house.
- Tristan has been working hard to build shelves, put stairs in, repairs, etc at El Ayudante - he does such great work!
- I have started another beginner English class - and now have around 30 students a week! I'm loving getting to know the community through this and am praying for open doors through these classes to share the gospel.

PRAYER REQUESTS:
- Sigel's adoption - has been stopped for a month now because of a typo that is on his birth mom's birth certificate which must be fixed before we can advance.. please pray that this is resolved NOW and that there are no more 'hiccups'!
- For a great third trimester in my pregnancy with no complications and a full term baby!
- Continued safety for our family
- Our continuous prayer - that we would never lose sight of Jesus and the reason that we're here - and to not get caught up with just 'doing' and forget who we are. To not lose sight of our priorities.
- We need a few great support staff to assist us with our teams this summer - a lead translator, and ideally a couple that can come and live and assist in the mission house for the busy 8 weeks of the summer! This would help us balance life and ministry so much!
- For the ability to be balanced and prepared for all our summer teams and at the same time be a strong family - especially with a baby on the way!
- For all those who sacrifice monthly for us to be here - our donors - pray for blessings in their lives!

Thank you so much for supporting us - financially, in prayer, and through your encouragement. We depend on you and are so thankful for your part that you have in our lives and ministry! We couldn't be here without you!

If you would like to support us financially, please send funds to: Words In Action, Reedsport Foursquare Church, 2900 Frontage Rd, Reedsport, OR 97467. All donations are tax-deductible and much appreciated!
