The Journey

For some reason it's always easier to BLOG when we are some where besides home. hm... well so I guess you get to hear from me now because we're not at home.

Friday we went up to Tahoe with Bruce and Shanon and Mary and Rick for a nice weekend of relaxing. There were some pretty fall colors and it was nice to be up in Tahoe. It has the feeling of vacation :)

We left Sunday morning to go home and pack up. We loaded our Nova onto our new trailer and headed off in our first road trip in our truck. We drove to L.A. and stayed with our friends Mandy and Justin. Mandy is a friend of mine from college so it was fun to spend the evening catching up.

We left their house this morning and drove to Tristan's sister's house - Jenn & Duane's and we're their for the evening. It's nice to hang out with them. Tomorrow we leave for Florida to go to a missions training for 10 days. During those days we'll learn about missions, living in another country, conflict resolution, and all that stuff. We're really looking forward to it! Unfortunately we won't be able to go to Disney World or anything but that's ok.
