Startin' to Blog

Well this is going to be our way of keeping everyone posted on what is happening as Tristan and I travel the world and go on adventures.
Our adventure has already begun - our house is packed into storage and we're relaxing in Oregon with Beth's family. We're having a great time of catching up on sleep and exploring the Oregon coast. We have been attempting at flying a kite but this "Oregon wind" is not cooperating with us - every time we go to fly it, the beach is still and there is no wind (this is quite unusual for Oregon). Tristan and I learned how to use the Lathe today to turn wood - it's not as easy as we thought it would be. Hopefully we'll get some more practice in the next couple of days.
