Email Update Sent March4th

Good morning!

Thanks for all your prayers regarding the team that we had last week. The week was a whirl wind but it went really well. The only bummer was that a virus went around and about 1/3 of the team was sick for a day or two. But even so the week was very successful - the guard house (which was their main goal) made huge strides - all the walls are up, the roof on, the electrical strung, the cabinets made, and doors and windows installed! Plus in the mission house they: put 20 ceiling fans up, put lights on the back porch in the mission, made security bars for the windows, trimmed in the windows, etc. We also had electricians put in more power poles and a transformer. We had a backhoe that came and dug septic tanks...etc. As you can see it was a super busy week! Check out the blog for pictures and more specifics.

Other big news is that we found a new house! A wonderful business man that we just recently met lives in Comayagua and became our personal real estate agent. He set up a bunch of houses for us to see and then took us around. Our new house is in the pueblo of Comayagua - not the heart of the pueblo but in a neighborhood on the outskirts. It's 4 bedroom, 3 bath with a small garden, and room to park our cars inside the gate. We've been told that it's safe. They are repainting the house for us (and we get to pick the colors! :) and doing repairs and we should be able to move in the end of this month! Yeah! We are so relieved that we didn't have to house hunt for days like last time when it took 2 months. The great thing is that it only costs $300/month - less than what we're paying now!!

Prayer Requests:

* Sigel - he is dreading the move and having a very hard time with the whole thing
* School for Sigel - we think we found one. We have a meeting with them this Monday
* Tristan will be working with a team this month - continuing work on the community center in the mountains of Yoro.
* For the move - it's always lots of details for it all to come together
* Madelyn has decided to stop sleeping - pray that she starts to sleep during the night and take naps again!
* Residency - all our paperwork is turned in - now we wait (should take 3 months)
* Adoption - still waiting on permission from the judge to start the process - for the judge to approve this quickly so we can start

Thanks! We love you guys! thank you for being our support!
