Well being dug!

we've been working on a well to be dug for El Ayudante. There was a well but about 2 years ago it apparently caved in (we're not exactly sure). but we spent many days trying to pull the pump out of it but using pully's and Tristan and John's truck (matching dodge's) and even hiring someone to try but no luck. So beginning in December we began a new well! Very exciting really because otherwise we're dependent on city water which comes and goes and we can't depend on it at all. As of last week when Tristan went to check on them they were at 100Ft. we need it to be at 300ft plus have the piping and pump at the bottom of it before our team that comes Feb 16th! Yikes. The driller told us he'd have it all drilled by now....well no surprise really - we're still waiting. We're hoping for a good report when Tristan goes back out tomorrow to check again. They said they can do 30ft in a day. we are learning so much about so many things :-)

I like these pictures because the rig is pretty impressive...and most of all because the sky behind it is beautiful! (it was dusk).
