SOC youth building!!!!

Seeds of Change has rented a building! We're so excited as it is perfect for the ministry that we are doing. It's a block off of central park in our pueblo which means very assessable. It's a 2 story building - the bottom level is a smaller room than upstairs and it has a kitchen in it. We have had a tv donated and plan on putting some couches and beanbags down there. The upstairs is a much bigger room - plenty of room for youth group and other meetings. We're using the building for guitar lessons, English classes, Discipleship classes, mentoring times, youth hang out, and weekly - soon to be bi-weekly youth group. We're so excited to have a place that the kids in the pueblo know they can come to to hang out and learn more about Jesus. We have big dreams - a ping pong table, foosball table, coffee maker and tables and chairs, games, etc. Currently the building looks very bare as we are waiting on funds.

Monthly rent is $500/month plus electricity and we're really also praying for activity money to be able to do events with the kids. Please pray about being a part of the youth ministry that we do up here by paying for part of the rent of the building. We all pitched together for firsts month rent but we need sponsors for the building by the 1st of Oct. If you are going to sponsor the building please let us know so that we can depend on it and we'll breathe easier. We are trusting the God wanted us to have that building and that the funds will come in.

I'll continue to post pics as we decorate and fill up the building with furniture etc. In a month this building will be transformed!
