Everyday is different

* The group of us that went to the Lake yesterday.

* Below: All along the side of the road at the lake they sell fish like this.

Yesterday we took out some leaders from CEAD (the church that we attended and worked for last year) to go out and see the project at El Ayudante. These are the guys that Tristan was involved with last year - he played Soccer with them lots of Friday nights, went camping, and also built a church with them. Well, we are working at getting the medical clinic built so that it can start being used - but we are lacking the man power to do it. So, we're recruiting! :) So we took them out to the site and they got very excited with us and it looks like they're going to come out a few Friday night/Saturdays to work on finishing the walls for the clinic! Praise God! We then went with them to Lago Jayoa - which is pretty much the only lake in Honduras, and we ate fresh fish for lunch, climbed a huge tree house that they had and then just hung out for a while. The lake is about 3 hours from home (but for Honduran's, part of the fun and vacation of it is the drive). So we had a long day in the car. It was very fun to go and be with them for the day. There were three cars full of us.

Today we hosted a missions team from the states who had been down here for the week putting on a camp for an orphanage. They took the kids out of town and to a camp and loved on them and shared Jesus with them. They came to our house and we shared with them what Seeds of Change is all about and what is going on with that. And we BBQ'd for them as well. It was a good time. We had about 20 people over. We will do it again next Friday for another team that is coming down.

* Tristan picked up the team in the town because they came here in a big bus and wouldn't have been able to get down our road.

* Below are two sisters - Scarlet & Claudia - they have grown up in an orphanage and just last week turned 18! Scarlet has joined the Seeds of Change program and we'll be working with her to get her into college and teach her how to live. Mandy (a co-worker of ours) took them to the movies yesterday - it was Claudia's first time at the movies ever!
