Tristan is so talented!!!!

Tristan is so incredibly talented with his hands. While we were in Honduras this last year he really missed being able to create and use his hands. Well since July he's had the chance and he's doing great work!

He worked at his uncles house retrofitting it for earthquakes, replacing the rotten foundation, painting the entire outside of the house, putting in french doors, building a huge retaining wall and all of the things that go into all of that - which I don't know about :) Tristan is such a visionary that he's able to see something and understand how to make it happen.

He's also worked for friends putting up cabinets, busting out a wall, redoing the living room, making an attic entrance, fixing the garage, and building a patio. I'm sure I'm missing things :)

I know I'm a proud wife but his ability to work hard and fast, to be dedicated to it and make it look great amazes me. I helped him for a few hours the other day and realized that the reason he does so well is that he is a perfectionist when it comes to his work - making sure everything fits perfectly and fixing any mistakes. He checks and rechecks and does all the annoying finish work.

Anyways, enough bragging for now. I think he's great.
