Hi Everyone,
Well more excitment has taken place since we last posted. This is coming form the fingers of TRISTAN!! On friday we wnt to a little town called Ojojona about a 45 minutes from our home. We went with 4 other teachers and the school director and the elementary shcool principal. The drive was awesome, we went in to the mountains surrounding Tegucigalpa and they are so lush with vegitayion it is amasing. The town was cute, they made lots of the souvenir there and sold them in lots of little shops. There was a beautiful old Catholic Church ther that was from the 1800´s it was really pretty on the outside. That night on the way home we went to a nice local resturant and tried some really tasty food.
Yesteray we wnt to another mountain village called Valle de Angeles, it was beautiful as well. There were a lot more shops there and it was more "touristy" in the cent çer of town they had a really nice square, with benches and a fountain. On the way back down the mountain from Valle de Andgeles we went to a juice shop and had the best Jamba Juice ever. They had 20 or so fruits to choose from and the blended them with a little sugar and water or milk (your choice) and it was undescribable. Plus they were only $1.25US for a 22 ounce glass what a deal.
Today we went to church and it was awesome, it was a little overwelming because they talked so fast (in español). The songs were familiar but of coarse in spanish as well. We sat in the 3rd row and then after singing the introduced us to the congrigation and we had to stand up and they all clapped for us, it was neet. Then we wnt and picked up 2 more of the teachers at the airport so now there are 8 of us teachers and we will pick up the last "North American " teacher tonight. All of the teachewrs here are really cool, we seam to get along really well, we are talking about traveling a lot together so we will have to keep you posted on all of our adventures to come!!!!
Love You All
