Teamwork

You + Us = A Great Team!

Mohagen Family Update – May 2014

We just returned from being in the States for about 4 weeks – we spent the first part of our time in Oregon with Beth’s family, drove up to Washington to see Tristan’s sister for a few days, and then took the trek to the San Francisco area (13 hour road trip with toddlers – yeah!)  where we have been visiting with Tristan’s family –as well as many of our supporters, encouragers, and friends. It’s been a really fun time of reconnecting with people and getting to share the vision of where El Ayudante is going as well as all the advancements in the projects.

Tristan and I see of all of you as part of our team for changing lives and transforming communities. The plain and simple fact is that we couldn’t do it without our supporters. And we are so thankful for the group of people that have chosen to jump in and make something happen in Honduras! We all are a part of something bigger than ourselves and are building our legacy as we build up our communities to be different for both today’s, and tomorrow’s generations. That makes it worth all the sacrifice, all the hard moments, and hot days. It's on an honor to be on a team with you!

Tristan was able to preach while here and his message was about keeping life simple and focusing on Jesus. Because Jesus IS love, joy, peace, and hope – there really is nothing worthwhile in life without HIM. This is our focus, plain and simple.

Please please keep us in your prayers as have returned to Honduras and have already jumped back into our busy lives! We returned to the rainy season, AKA mud, bugs, and beetles. Within the next 3 months we will open the medical clinic, move 2 missionary families on campus, and host 7 teams (all of this with the help of our great staff of course!).

Thank you to all those we were able to spend time with us these last 3 weeks – you have encouraged us, loved on us, and been excited about the vision! It was a real pleasure to be with every single person! And to those we missed, hopefully we can catch you next time – or you can always find us in Honduras!

With much love,
Tristan, Beth, & the kiddos
