Grandparents visit

Since Ali has been born our guest room has been pretty much full - not really a change from the norm actually. First my mom was here when Ali was born for about 3 weeks, then the next week my in-laws came for a few weeks too. My kids LOVE having their grandparents here - they follow the kids around, play card games or play dough for hours and bring hundreds of stickers for Madelyn to play with (her new infatuation!). Madelyn has especially learned how to get the most out of her grandparents - including extra snacks, and snooping in their luggage for new shoes (her other infatuation). And of course Tristan and I like having the grandparents around too - we get time to work on our projects, focus on things that you don't normally get to focus on with a baby pulling on your leg, and of course, help with cooking and dishes :). Tristan and his dad went golfing one morning and Tristan took his Dad around working with him. Both mom's were great company as we took care of the girls etc. We went to a town called La Esperanza over the weekend with Bruce and Shanon and had a great time. We stayed at a hotel that had a lot of character and spent a lot of time playing cards, eating, and just being together. La Esperanza is also known for their strawberries (the only place in Honduras cold enough to grow strawberries) so we went to the farmers market in the morning and bought a ton of strawberries to bring home and freeze for smoothis...yummy! And one of the biggest perks is lots of pictures being taken - because I"m just not as good at taking as many pictures as they are. :) So here are some pics from the last month.

Your kids are so cute! And you and your hubby aren't looking too shabby yourselves ;) So glad the grandparents are getting in so many visits.

Every time I read your blogs and your email updates, I remember how proud I am of you guys for doing what you're doing. I'm sure others feel the same way. Thanks for serving and advancing the kingdom. I hope you hear that often.

Love you!
