Shoes and Golf

Yesterday started at 4:30 in the morning with me going to a shoe shop that opens at 5am. They get their shipment of shoes every Saturday morning and it's a mad rush for people to get the best shoes - they are name brand shoes for $9 each. Amazing. So we went, fought the people ( just like the day after Thanksgiving) and found some cool shoes. Latin culture is rubbing off on me - I'm getting into heels... and lots of jewelry.

Tristan played golf yesterday at a tournament with the church. He had a great time and did really good considering he's never swung a club before. He said that he only lost two balls which is really amazing considering Honduras is built on a group of hills so the whole course is up and down and up and down. I think that he's hooked - he's hoping to go this week and he's already talking about finding clubs for the summer... u-oh.
