Today we celabrated Independance Day at the school. Each class represented a different hero or symbol of Honduras. My student did a speech on the national flower: the Orchid. They then had some authentic dancers come to the school and did a show for us. It was a lot of fun. All of the kids dressed in authentic clothes (dresses / white shirt, jeans, and sombrero's). I hope that this movie will work for you: here is part of the program. Tristan and I are both thrilled that it is Friday! :) This week was long. This evening we have a dinner with all the teachers, Saturday we're going to the open air market, Sunday we're going hiking at La Tigra, and Monday there is no school so we're celebrating one of the teachers birthdays. Should be a great weekend!

I know when you work, you work hard. But . . . you sure have alot of days off. I guess that is one great thing about teaching. Your children look cute. . . yet adventurous. Have fun!!!
