We finished up our time in Oregon with each of us making a rolling pin on the lathe. It was very fun and we are both proud of our pins. :) We also had the chance to fly our kite on a windy day and boy did it fly! It was very fun steering it in the wind. Another set of Beth's aunt and cousins came from Minnesota for a visit and we were able to spend a day with them.
We decided to take the scenic route to San Francisco via 101. We took a pit stop at a Blueberry farm to pick berries. We picked almost 20 pounds of berries within an hour. It was so easy to pick and very fun to do something new. We then enjoyed the drive by the ocean and the very whindy roads. Although it took a lot longer to get where we needed to go, it was worth the time for the view and time together. It's so easy to rush through life and not take the time to see what's around you. We made it home safe - only to find our car was broken into - sad day!!! Thank God for insurance!!
We have receive confirmation for our tickets to Honduras and are getting very excited about that! We leave the evening of the 8th of August- it is coming up so close!
